Song:
This Much
Here's a song I wrote years ago that someone might want to use.
Just put it to your own tune:
As I was walking along the road to Calvary
I saw Jesus along the way
I asked Him, "Jesus, how much do You love me?"
And this is what I heard Him say:
"I love you this much,
This much," He cried
As they nailed Him to the cross
When he was crucified.
"I love you this much,
This much," He cried
and then He stretched out his hands and He died.
As I was looking upon that cruel tree
I thought of Jesus' goodness and grace
I thought, Jesus, how much You must have loved me
For I know that I, I should have taken Your place.
But You loved me this much,
"This much," You cried
As they nailed You to the cross
When You were crucified.
You loved me this much,
"This much," You cried,
Then you stretched out Your hands and You died.
Then I lay weeping at the feet of Jesus
And I saw angels come to stand by His side,
I stood upon my feet and looked up to the sky
And with my hands stretched toward Heaven I cried:
"I love You this much,
"This much," I cried
"And for You Lord, I would be willing to die."
"I love You this much,
"This much," I cried
"And for You Lord, I would be willing to die."

2) Memorization Technique: Rap it
Our midweek class has been memorizing Bible verses
to a "rap beat," similar to a
military cadence, whereby teacher calls out a phrase and the kids repeat it. After
saying the verse with the address, together we say,
"Word......of God...uh, huh!" It's fun, the kids are
LOVING it and memorizing Scripture quickly! I'm lovin' it too!

3) Fill My Cup / Amazing Grace Music?
I'm
looking for the music/songwriter for the "Fill My Cup Song" that
combines part of "Amazing Grace" with it. I've got the lyrics, but I need
the music. It goes like this, "Fill my cup and let it overflow. (repeat 3
times) Let if overflow with love! Amazing grace how sweet the sound. That
saved a wretch like me. I once was lost..."

4) Goin' A.P.E. - Teaching Tips
All of us learn in different ways要isual, auditory or
verbal, kinesthetic (touching, feeling, moving), solitary or
social葉herefore, by using the Active Participation Experience (A.P.E.)
you'll provide children with a method of learning Biblical truths according to
their bent and in keeping with the admonition of Proverbs 22:6.
To learn more, you'll find the A.P.E. Method listed on our
Teens and Adult Resources page at:

5) Ash Wednesday Lesson / Craft
Millions of Christians observe Ash Wednesday and the Lenten season, while others barely know what it's about. I thought it might be helpful to give a brief description for those who don't understand the purpose of these observances and maybe offer new insight to veterans of this holiday, as well as a craft idea for use in your classrooms.
