1) Bible Camp Game Learn
to play the recently listed Bible game Survivor: Job, "Why God, Why?" in the
Anytime Bible Games
section at:
http://www.sundayschoolnetwork.com/games-Bible.html

2) Bible Memory Game
I have another version of this game to help with learning the books of the Bible:
Have the names of all the OT or NT books on cards - two copies. Lay them out face down. Then turn over two for a match. A match is when they get 2 books that are consecutive
e.g. Joshua + Judges.
Cheers
Sharon
--from
SSTN: this is similar to ONE of the ways you can play the
Bible-Stack-O! card game at: http://www.sundayschoolnetwork.com/curriculum-bible-card-game.html

3) Wedding Banquet Skit
This skit is based on the parable about God's invitation to
come to him on his terms and not our own. Based on Matthew 22:1-14. No
memorization or reading required. Children pantomime to teacher's narration.
Discussion questions included!
Check it out in our Anytime
Christian Skits section at:

4) Easter Eggs, Cross, Disappointed...
I am so disappointed. Death of Jesus, cross and eggs. Where do they mix? You are responsible to God for teaching wrong doctrines to children and making money out of God's children by selling lies to them.
--from SSTN:
I wanted to share an exchange I had over the weekend with a subscriber
(posting above, name withheld). In all probability there are others who are
thinking the same thing; I'd like a chance to explain my reasoning on this
subject, please read on:
I'm so sorry you are disappointed. I understand you are associating eggs with heathen
practices. However, I don't see it this way. Jesus redeemed everything by his death on the
cross.
I would ask, what do weeds, pearls, fishing nets and mustard seeds have to do
with the cross? Indirectly they don't have anything to do with it, but Jesus
used them to explain something about his kingdom. This method of using eggs,
which is no longer associated with heathen practices, is a fun way for children to learn the steps of what Jesus accomplished for us on the cross--he reversed the
curse, giving us new life in him. In addition, eggs are
created by God, they do not belong to the Evil One, he has no right to claim
them.

5) Summertime Bible Skits?
I
have found using Bible skits during the summer months is an enjoyable change
of pace for our kids. If you've used skits to teach your Bible lessons I'd
love to hear from you. What went well? What would you change--if anything? How
could you improve your "production?"
If you've never used Bible skits to teach a lesson, I encourage you to give
this technique a try! Check out the following sample skit and video: http://www.sundayschoolnetwork.com/Bible-skits-Mark.html
