Scripture Memory Ideas

WORD TILES
Use Magnetic Word Tiles to create Scripture memory verses to display on your refrigerator. When children get a drink of juice or a snack, they will also be seeing and learning a memory verse. You can also make this an interactive game, whereby you leave out key words from the verse for children to fill in the blanks.

MAKE IT MUSICAL
When memorizing Scripture it is easy, almost natural, to slip into an almost chanting-like rhythm as you repeat the words. Break up sentences into individual words or short phrases to create a simple rhythm or rap. You can also use drums, tambourines, or have kids make egg-maracas by pouring dried beans or rice into plastic eggs, then seal closed with decorative tape or Christian-themed Stickers. Children will love drumming or shaking their maracas to the beat of Scripture! (Sent in by Annabelle from SmileTutor)
