Can't Save You, Children's Message

Say: "Hi, let me introduce myself. I’m Google® I can do all kinds of stuff for you.

I can find a restaurant, tell you the address, phone number, and show menus.

I can find locations of friends and family.

I can tell you what is showing at the movies.

I can give you directions.

I can help you answer trivia questions.

I can find addresses and phone numbers for people and businesses.

I can help with homework, solve problems, and help with spelling.

I hold a wealth of information! That’s why I’m called the electronic information highway!

Aren’t I special?

I can even help with Bible information. Ask me a question about the prophets or anything – I have the answer.

Here are some examples (click the answers to see):
Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

So you see, I am important! However, there is something you need that I can’t do! You need to be saved! Jesus died on a cross for your sins and rose again after being in the tomb for three days! Someday Jesus is coming back! Google can’t “save” you, but JESUS can; He IS the ONLY way to HEAVEN!

ARE YOU READY?!"

Editor's Note:
To extend this devotional, write down and distribute the following Bible verses from the Roman Road. Have children look up in a Bible and read them, or if children have their phones handy, have them "Google" the following Bible* passages, and then read and discuss them:

Romans 3:10
Romans 3:23
Romans 5:8
Romans 6:23
Romans 10:9-10
Romans 10:13

Close in prayer.

*You might have them read from different translations too.
