1) Choose This Day Ideas?

We are finishing up the "Choose This Day..." lessons. I am looking for something to give the children along that theme for our closing program, as a gift and reminder of the year.  Any suggestions?  I loved the theme and lessons...thanks for your lessons.  SC

--from SSTN: Hello SC, I'm so glad you liked the lessons. What about giving them a child-friendly Bible? After all, we cannot choose God's ways without knowing his Word. If that is too costly of an idea, then you could create a certificate award with a picture of a "key" on it that says, "The key to choosing God's way is by knowing and obeying his Word." Or give each child a "key" attached to a key tag with that phrase printed on it.

SSTN Teachers, please respond to this email if you have additional ideas.

3) What Are Your Summer Plans?

I know many churches have a summer VBS planned for the children's ministry, but is your church planning something different? Please share your ideas of how to make the summer fun, exciting, and different!
