1) All Saints Day Party

Hi Donna,
I have had the children dress as Biblicial Characters and even the teachers dress up the kids went wild when they see their teacher dressed up!!! I have a fishing game that I've done and use a old sheet and have the kids fish for a prize usually a sm bag of candy or popcorn they loved it too especially the little ones!

I have drawn a lion or whale on a box and have bean bags with little men drawn on them to throw in the mouth. (the kids usually want to take the bean bags home).

If weather permits have a hay ride or a pile of sawdust the kids can scramble for stuff.
I've had a treasure hunt and have clues hidden around the building and the kids use the bible to figure out the next clue. I write some clues backwards having a mirror to hold up to unscramble the clues.

This year I had a pickle dressing contest they loved it I let a dill pickle dry out a couple of hours before the contest and had scraps of material, straw hats, ribbon, plastic eyes, odds & ends and they had a ball! of course I had to take a picture of each child holding there pickle and the prize was a veggie tale bob the tomato that I down loaded from the net and Ironed on to felt and made bean bags I found that site at www.daniellsplace.com/veggiepat2.gif
You will need to buy transfer paper for your printer. This is neat!

Well as you can tell I have had a lot of ideas and hope you find some helpful as we do His service! Alice Stiekes

2) Pringles Potato Chip cans?

Does anyone having any craft ideas for Sunday School or Bible School using Pringles Potato Chip cans. We have several and would like to use them in some type of craft. Any help would be appreciated!

<>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <><

3) Carnival follow up

We had a small scale carnival at our church (we have a very small church!) and it went over well. We had a bible question booth. If they answered a bible question, they won a prize. We had a bingo room and several carnival-type games like bowling and pick-a-duck. Oriental Trader Co. has many religious things you can get for prizes and they're fairly inexpensive. Good luck!

4) Advent Crafts

I'm looking for idea's on crafts for advent workshops.

Two suggestions, check out the Holidays & Holy Days section of my bookstore for Advent activity books. Or, use my Chrismon Snowflakes or Chrismon Kids patterns (For ages 3-103). You can make either a Chrismon Tree, or a Jesse Tree. I have free sample patterns in my Crafter's Showcase. If you want to purchase all the patterns, contact me directly for pricing and shipping info. (Hit your reply button to email me.)

5) Advent Crafts/Jesse Tree

>>I'm looking for idea's on crafts for advent workshops.

We've made a Jesse tree that was fun and very educational. Different symbols represent different people or things from the bible like a ladder for Jacob or a wheat shaft for Ruth. For more information on that you can e-mail me at sstroni40@aol.com

6) Biblical scavenger hunt?

I'm a fairly new subscriber and am enjoying all the great ideas. I'm
telling everyone I can about your site. We're having VBS soon and we are
looking for a Biblical scavenger hunt. Can anyone help?
