>We're looking to establish a curriculum for grades 1 through 8.
>Can someone help us?
LifeWay just unveiled a whole new curriculum series you may want to take a
look at. You can preview it online at www.lifewaysundayschool.com. Click on
"Children" for grades 1-6 and on "Youth" for grades 7-12. The Family Bible
Study has an interesting twist. Rather than offering student materials
designed to help students prepare for their Bible studies, they have flip
flopped to a more discipleship oriented model where student materials are
primarily designed for in class and after class use. It looks like churches
using the Family Bible Study across all age groups would be able to take
advantage of something they call "Family Bible Time" to help families build
on their classroom experiences in a family devotional time. Another feature
I like is the EXTRA! helps they offer. These are free supplemental teaching
helps that utilize current events (sometimes stories focus on events in the
2 weeks prior to leading the study) and current music. We've been using them
with LifeWay's current curriculum series. (Preview EXTRA! at
http://www.lifeway.com/extra.htm)

Why don't you look into the Workshop Rotation Model? You can find everything you need to know about this at WWW.Rotation.org on the internet. We are going to use it starting in the Fall! Peace, Barbara McLeod
--From ChristianCrafters.Com: you can also get the Workshop Rotation Model book in the Bookstore under Christian Education.--

Our church uses "Gospel Light" materials for nursery - middle school. I teach 1,2,&3rd grade and I enjoy it very much. It is easy to follow and they give you 2 or 3 ideas for each step.

I need some ideas for crafts and anything that worked
for ya'll. Please pray that we can do this in such
a short planning time.
Thank You,

>establish a curriculum for grades 1 through 8. Can someone help us?
I have used the Gospel Light curriculum (www.gospellight.com)
for a number of years and have really enjoyed using it. It is contempory
and well planned. I mentioned in a previous letter that we are using a
new publishers curriculum for the summer called, Discipleland. I'll keep
you posted on what I think about it!

Sermon on the Mount?
Greetings! Need help with a Youth Church trip to Atlanta, Georgia. Our
theme is "Sermon on the Mount." As this trip is FOUR hours on the bus
one way for us, the teachers & staff are looking for any new ideas (i.e.,
games, videos, reading material) that we can use to instruct the children
before we reach our destination. Please help.
