2) Teaching Manners

>> I want to know more about SUNDAY SCHOOL.
>> i want to know how to teach children and give them manners

Sunday Schools usually meet before, during, or after regular church services and are for teaching age-appropriate Bible lessons to children and adults.

As to teaching manners, if you mean social manners such as saying, please and thank you or eating appropriately, waiting your turn, etc., these kinds of social-manners are taught over time by parents and teachers alike, and vary depending on the culture. However, if you mean spirit-manners, such as kindness, gentleness, self-control, etc. these are the Fruit of the Spirit and cannot be humanly given to anyone, but they grow in our lives as we grow closer to Jesus.

SundaySchoolNetwork.com has many resources for teaching the
Fruit of the Spirit
. You can read more about it on the following page: http://sundayschoolnetwork.com/lesson_spirit_fruit.html

3)  Summer Planning...Change it up?

After VBS is over, our church has 5-6 weeks of summer Wednesday night classes for our children and adults. Our class numbers and attendees vary each week due to vacations. I would be interested in hearing what other teachers do differently during the summer months. Do you change it up from the regular routine?  If so, how and what do you do?
